Their spines are hubbed in the fine European binding tradition, and the page edges are gilded to resist damage from moisture and dust. Marbelized endleaves are reminiscent of fine Old World editions, coordinating headbands grace both ends of the spine and add strength. A permanent silk ribbon marker ensures easy reference.
