About the Rug Life

World travelers bringing you the finest rugs from all over the planet!

The Rug Life LLC was founded by John and Sabrina Jureidini.

The Jureidinis have been surrounded by luxurious Oriental and Persian rugs their entire lives. John’s Paternal Grandfather had an import and export business, based in Lebanon, that traded thousands of these rugs worldwide.

Hand Knotted Rugs for Auction

The Rug Life LLC offers hand knotted rugs for auction, that are of the highest quality.

The Rug Life LLC does the following;

Offer high end, hand knotted rugs with little or no “wear” issues.

All our rugs are sold “clean and ready to be enjoyed”. This means that we have cleaned them ourselves, had them professionally cleaned or that we acquired these rugs from established rug merchants, so they are clean when we got them.

We look for antique or semi-antique rugs. But we’ll offer newer rugs that are spectacular.

Upon purchase, we package your rugs and deliver them to the shipper of your choice. We can allow you to inspect a rug through “facetime”, prior to your making a bid. We have many of our rugs appraised. The appraisal is for “insurance replacement” value. You can figure out a retail price for any appraised rug by adding 50% to the appraised value.

John and Sabrina Jureidini

John Jureidini

John has built a career in marketing and sales in a variety of high-end industries since the 1980s. You could say being a purveyor of high-quality goods and services is in his blood!  John’s paternal grandfather, ran an import/export business that sold thousands of rugs world-wide out of offices in Beirut, Lebanon, Manilla, Philippines and New York City. In fact, John’s father was born in Beirut, his aunt was born in Manilla and his namesake uncle was born in New York! John’s maternal grandfather, William “Frank” Proctor, worked in the White House under presidents Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower.

For five years, John had been a member of the Board of Directors for his alma mater, Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro, Virginia, where he previously served up until 2020 when he resigned to spend more time with his Family. Through John, The Rug Life LLC has also donated several rugs to Fishburne’s historic campus.

Giving Back

The Jureidinis have founded and have championed several charitable causes over the past several years. Most recently, they headed up “Adopt A Family USVI”, which brought dozens of sea containers filled with hurricane relief supplies to the United States Virgin Islands and to Puerto Rico. Sabrina appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on November 13th, 2017, to bring awareness regarding hurricane relief efforts to the islands. Both Sabrina and John have also appeared on several local news stations to champion their relief efforts. Since then, their relief efforts have been written about and mentioned in dozens of newspaper articles nationwide. Both John and Sabrina grew in Northern Virginia. Growing up, Sabrina was the best friend with John’s youngest sister, which is how they met. The Jureidinis live in Richmond, Virginia, and are the proud parents of six children.
