A collection of 15 historic books, covering mostly World War 2 and Espionage. There are 14 hardbacks with their dust jackets, and one paperback. Most of the books are in Near Fine condition, and some are in Very Good condition. They are all signed by the author(s), and most are dedicated to 1 of 2 persons, and these books mostly came from two collections of these two persons. The war books in this set are from the collection of Harold Langley, who was the Curator of Naval History from the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. The espionage books came from the collection of Philip Manuel, who is a nationally recognized expert in economic crime and multinational fraud investigations. His investigative experience was gained in government service where he served as the chief investigator of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations for the U. S. Senate. Mr. Manuel also served as a counter-intelligence agent assigned to the 902nd Intelligence Corps Group in Washington D.C. where he was involved with counterespionage and security investigations for the United States. This handsome collection is easily worth $700.00 to $1000.00.
